Genesis 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you.”
When Israel became a nation again in 1948, America, under President Harry Truman, was the leading nation who supported the “born again” Jewish state (Isaiah 66:8). America was the first country to officially recognize Israel as a nation. Since that prophetic event, America has become the number one ally, financier, and defender of God’s promised land. As time has passed, many Presidents have been elected, but America’s one consistent and concrete foreign policy has been to protect God’s heritage, His land, and His chosen people (Joel 3:2).
In return for America’s loyalty and protection of the Promised Land, God has blessed America, and it has become the greatest and most successful superpower in world history! The “smiles of heaven,” have looked down on America as it has become the leading economic and nuclear superpower of the world. America has become the “light of the world” for democracy, peace, and liberty for all. America’s blessings from the Almighty can be attributed to two things: Blessing the nation of Israel and being the leader of the Great Commission by spreading the Gospel of Messiah to all parts of the world (Matthew 28:19-20). Without question, God has blessed America, because America has blessed His people and the Promised Land (Genesis 12:3).
However, in the past three decades, the leaders of our nation, including our Presidents, have forgotten God’s prophecy of the blessings and curses of Genesis 12:3 that echo throughout eternity. When the Almighty, who is righteous, sovereign, and cannot lie, makes a promise, it will never be broken! (Numbers 23:19, Hebrews 6:18). So, as Genesis 12:3 states, He will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel. It is as simple as that.
Nevertheless, America’s leaders of the past three decades have taken God’s blessings for America, and they have turned them into curses for our land. Our leaders have not been 100% loyal to Israel, as they have committed adultery with Israel’s enemies. Foreign ideologies and interests, and the “almighty dollar,” have influenced our leader’s decisions. These decisions have brought the curses of Genesis 12:3 upon our country. As a nation, America has compromised and forsaken its blessings from the Almighty, the God of Israel, by trying to bring “world peace” to the Middle East with a two state solution between Israel and the Palestinians (Muslims). Our Presidents and leaders have blasphemed God’s command about dividing the Promised Land.
Joel 3:2, “I will also gather ALL nations, and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat (Second Coming); And I will enter into judgment with them there on account of My people, My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; They have divided up My land."
In Genesis 13:14-17, Genesis 15:18-20, and Genesis 17:1-21, God confirms that the Promised Land is for His chosen people, His heritage, Israel, and not the Palestinians (Muslims), as he states that it is an “everlasting possession.” Everlasting means for eternity, forever and ever. Amen. Although the world leaders, including American leaders, are convinced that the two state solution will create “world peace,” this clearly defies God’s promise. How can there be peace if the leaders do not obey the Word of God? Let us remember that what the world calls peace is not the peace of the Almighty.
John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”
Psalm 119:165, “Great peace have those who love Your Torah. And nothing causes them to stumble.”
These Scriptures, including Joel 3:2, tell us that we will have “great peace” if we obey the Word of God. It also commands us to “not be afraid or troubled” when we have to stand up for God’s law (Torah). The only way for us to have “true peace” is by obeying and trusting God Almighty and His laws and commandments. Moses and Luke give us great insight relating to the Promised Land.
Deuteronomy 32:8-9, “When the Most High divided their inheritance to the nations, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set boundaries of the people according to the number of the children of Israel. For the Lord’s portion is His people; Israel is the place of His inheritance.”
Acts 17:26, And God has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their reappointed times and boundaries of their dwelling.”
What are Israel’s boundaries?
Genesis 15:18-21, “To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt (the Nile river, modern day Egypt and Sudan) to the great river, the river Euphrates (modern day Iraq); the Kenites, the Kenezzites, the Kadonites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Grirgashites, and the Jebusites.” (The land from the Kenites to the Jebusites is Egypt, Sudan, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, part of Asia Minor, and of course all of Israel, including Gaza and the West Bank.
As we look at the map below, as of today, the children of Israel (Jews) do not currently occupy and control all of the land that was promised to them by God! And the nations still want to force them to divide the current land area! Just as God warned the nations not to divide His land in Joel 3:2, He also warned the nation of Israel and it’s people not to divide the Promised Land. He specifically declared, “No peace deals."
Exodus 23:32-33, Do not make a covenant with them or with their gods. Do not let them live in your land or they will cause you to sin against me, because the worship of their gods will certainly be a snare to you.”
Ezekiel 48:14, “They must not sell or exchange ANY of it. This is the best of the land and must not pass into other hands, because it is holy to the Lord."
Furthermore, to confirm that the Torah’s boundaries of the Promised Land are still valid today, Messiah stated in Matthew 5:17-18, “Do not think I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill,” clearly emphasizing its validity.
In the book, “Eye to Eye,” author William Koenig does an excellent job of explaining the consequences to America and other nations that plan to divide God’s land (Israel). The book was published in 2008, so the events are from 1991 to 2005. Please visit www.watch.org/eyetoeye, and discover the events and consequences that have taken place from 2007 until now. Eye to Eye, Measure for Measure
Genesis 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you.”
This divine, prophetic scripture from the Almighty should have a different meaning to all of us, since we have seen the actions of our leaders and the catastrophes that coincided with them. The Lord is true to His Divine words. One might say, ‘this is coincidence.’ Like the famous saying goes, coincidence is God’s way of staying anonymous. Our Presidents, world leaders, national leaders and its nations, have been judged and will continue to be judged by the Almighty for conniving and manipulating to divide the Promised Land.
As we discovered from the catastrophic events from 1991-2005, a pattern of 14 years has been set. Mr. Koenig’s website gives the events from 2007 until now. We can have confidence that this pattern has continued as President Obama has continued to be the outspoken leader on dividing the Promised Land. The other world leaders also continue to call on Israel to divide its land with an adversary that is committed to the annihilation of Israel.
As of today, President Obama has been very outspoken about a “two state solution,” which would divide the Promised Land. Also, just recently (April 2016), the UN unanimously voted that the Golan Heights should be recognized as part of Syria, which again, defies God’s borders of the Promised Land.
As we see, there are dire consequences to those who advocate dividing Israel. The God of Israel will not allow His covenant land to be divided with the enemies of Israel. The people who continue to appease the enemies of Israel will continue to pay a very dear price, according to the Scriptures. No one is excluded, as God will have the final word concerning His land. The Holy Bible is very clear on the boundaries of His promised land (Genesis 15:18-21), and we are to obey this promise, including our world leaders. God has divine plans for Israel, His heritage, His land, and according to the scriptures, ALL who break his promises and His covenants will be in danger of judgment. During the last 4,000 years, the Pharaoh’s tried to eliminate Israel, the Assyrians tried to kill them, the Babylonians tried to destroy them, Romans tried to crush them, the Ottomans sought to eliminate them, and Hitler tried to annihilate them. Those empires have ALL fallen and been destroyed, but Israel is still here! It is God’s mighty hand and His promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, that will always protect Israel.
I pray and hope that in spite of our national leaders that the “bended knee” remnant of America will pray, bless, and support Israel, as we will be blessed in return. As a nation, I pray that our leaders, including our current president and the one to follow in 2017, as well as all future presidents, will not have a part in dividing the Promised Land. If this happens, the Word of God clearly states, we will be cursed with catastrophes for our defiance of God’s law. Amen, Amen and Amen
